Do a Simple Meditation Before You Go on Your Heart Walk
Before going on a heart walk I will usually do a small meditation on why I want to go on alone into nature. What I do is pull out my notebook from my rear pocket and read over the intentions I usually have set for my heart walk. Then I take a couple of moments to squat down, put one of my hands on the earth, close my eyes and dwell on these intentions. The more energy you place into your intention, the clearer the messages you’ll obtain. So how do we drop into the force and permit it to move us? The first step would be to again go into innocence, into no-mind by saying ‘Thank you for sharing’ of the little voice inside your head and placing your focus instead on the gap between the thoughts. This once more gets you away from your thoughts and allows the space to go into your senses. Next close your eyes and scan within your body for just about any stress. Again, just like dropping a rock to the ground, permit the tension within your system to drop towards the earth and similarly with your mind.
